Chances are you have found yourself inside a historic building in Vermont that was renovated by HJ LeBoeuf & Son, Inc. Our firm was naturally drawn into restoration work in the mid-1970s when Vermont’s restoration movement was in its early stages. We became involved with a variety of restoration projects in Vergennes, VT. These ranged from brick and mortar projects to comprehensive Main Street revitalization plans.
HJ LeBoeuf & Son, Inc. has completed renovations and restorations in various high-profile public buildings, including consulting on the restoration of the Ethan Allen Homestead and the previous renovations of the Hotel Putnam/Pennysaver complex in Bennington, VT. Locally, perhaps our most public restoration project was the Vergennes Opera House/City Hall. This project was instrumental in spurring a significant revitalization of the Vergennes Main Street business district.
